Having partnered with a wide range of healthcare clients on compensation design, regulatory compliance, and financial governance involving both physicians and APPs, Justin brings a wealth of industry expertise and valuable insights to every engagement. As provider organizations look for opportunities to generate revenues under payer-aligned models, Justin’s clients value his proposed solutions, which combine standard fee-for-service components with the flexibility and pathways necessary to ramp up value-based incentives. Justin’s experience serving rural, small, and large academic medical centers; community health centers; medical groups; and large health systems enables him to provide clients with the robust set of industry expertise necessary to successfully implement best practices.
Justin’s approach to compensation design focuses on aligning an organization’s compensation methodology with its broader strategic objectives while also considering administrative burden. Before joining ECG, Justin worked at SullivanCotter as a provider workforce consultant, where he partnered with numerous clients to better position their compensation methodologies to support their value-based care strategies. Of note, at a rural health system in central Indiana, Justin helped consolidate over 50 individual physician contracts under three overarching compensation models with specialty-specific inputs, increasing the efficiency of its compensation governance processes and decreasing the administrative burden of managing one-off contracts.
